It is with regret that we announce that the 2022 Spring Festival is unable to go ahead due to the condition of Peakhurst Park following the recent heavy rains and the expected forecast for more heavy rains. This decision has been made in collaboration with Georges River Council. Regrettably the ground is not drying out as quickly as we had hoped.
Rather than cancel the event, Lugarno Lions is planning to postpone it until early 2023. Planning of such an event must coincide with the change of sporting seasons therefore the next expected break should be around March 2023, subject to relevant approvals. Further details will be available on our website as planning proceeds.

The Spring Festival is the largest festival in southern Sydney outside of the Royal Easter Show. In 2018, it was estimated to attract around 40,000 visitors with over 200 food, craft and variety stalls, two stages of entertainment and a plethora of carnival rides. Festival attractions include amusement rides for adults and children, camel rides, pony rides, kiddies train rides, animal farm and much more – best to bring cash as some do not take credit cards.
Bring your Buick for a chance to win a “people’s choice” trophy.
